Not Pét 2023
5 500 Ft
Limited edition.
Disgorged Pinot Noir rosé pét-nat from the Küszöb Orrá vineyard, grown on red sandstone soil. Its subtly unfolding aroma—true to the variety—evokes Champagne, with notes of red berries, crisp sour cherry, and inviting raspberry. The palate is well-structured and complex, with vibrant acidity perfectly balancing the small amount of residual sugar. The flavour profile is exciting and anything but cloying, featuring fleshy pear and a lingering finish of blood orange, complemented by silky, caressing bubbles. Best served well-chilled—an ideal summer refreshment when enjoyed in moderation.
Description
Winemaking
Bottle-fermented, disgorged pét-nat.
Vintage
Overall, it was a warm but notably rainy year, making vineyard management particularly important. Spring started promising with early budbreak, followed by relatively early flowering. However, summer saw significant rainfall, which delayed the harvest. Picking only began in mid-September with Pinot Noir for sparkling wine, while the last grapes, Riesling, were brought into the cellar in early October.
