The spring started promisingly with early budburst, and flowering also occurred relatively early; however, the summer was not characterised by any significant rainfall. The palate is beautifully structured and complex, with the high acidity characteristic of sparkling wine perfectly balancing the touch of residual sugar. It offers an exciting, sophisticated flavour profile\u2014not at all cloying\u2014featuring red sour cherry and redcurrant, with orange zest lingering in the background and silky, caressing bubbles.
