All three locations are part of the Badacsony wine district, and thus, part of the Balaton wine region.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-43380ae elementor-widget-tablet__width-inherit elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"43380ae\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The differences between the three locations are reflected not only in the grape varieties but also in the soil itself.<\/p><p>The largest portion of our vineyards, planted with Pinot Noir, is located on a subsoil of red sandstone, which has excellent water retention capabilities and is occasionally mixed with clay. Due to its size and position, parts of the vineyard also feature brown forest soil just beneath the surface. In this respect, we have it especially easy on K\u00fcsz\u00f6b-orra, which is a nature reserve surrounded by forest \u2014 here, we are completely alone, with no neighbours.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-06f4a32 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"06f4a32\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>We prune using the single vine method (Guyot) and the cordon method (Royat Cordon), taking into account the principles of gentle pruning. We also make sure that, even at this stage, in order to preserve the concentration of the wines, we limit the future yield as much as possible.
